Description of Sudan
A country in northern Africa with the Red Sea and the countries of Egypt, Libya, Chad, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Eritrea along its borders. There is a little over 965,000 total square miles which is roughly a quarter of the size of the United States. The northern portion of the country is dominated by desert while there is more mountainous terrain in the southern and western parts. Sudan is the largest country in Arica with the Nile running straight through from North to South. There is 530 miles of coast line in Sudan as all other parts of nation are land locked.
